2 units Eggs
150g Sugar
85g Sunflower oil
195g Vegetable milk
190g Flour mixture
1 teaspoon Baking soda
Zest of ½ unit of Lime
Zest of ½ unit of Lemon
Juice of ½ unit of Lime
Juice of ½ unit of Lemon
1.Beat the eggs with the sugar until the volume doubles.
2.Stir in the oil and the vegetable milk.
3.Add the flour mixture, the teaspoon of baking soda and blend properly.
4.Finally, mix in the lime and lemon zest and juice.
5.Blend everything properly and pour it into the chosen greased cake tin.
6.Bake at 190ºC for 30 minutes approximmately.
7.Leave it to cool before unmoulding.
*This sponge cake can be used in multiple recipes with different fillings, but it's delicious as it is.
*The juice and zest (lime and lemon) can be replaced with vanilla, cinnamon, orange zest, etc.
