Cinnamon Cookies

*For 30 cookies approximately.

  • 95g Margarine

  • 100g Sugar

  • 1 pinch of Salt

  • 18g Corn starch

  • ½ teaspoon of Vanilla essence*

  • 150g Wheat flour

  • 2g Baking powder*

  • 23g Non-dairy milk

  • Sugar (for the topping)

  • Cinnamon (for the topping)

  • 1.Mix together the margarine and sugar until the mixture is creamy.

  • 2.Add the salt, corn starch and vanilla essence to the mixture and continue mixing.

  • 3.Now add the flour and baking powder to the mixture, mix and then add the non-dairy milk.

  • 4.Beat all the ingredients until evenly combined and store the dough a few minutes in the fridge to cool and harden a little.

  • 5.For the topping mix the cinnamon and sugar.

  • 6.Form the dough into approximately 30 small balls and coat them with the topping mixture.

  • 7.Place them on the baking sheet and flatten gently to obtain a cookie shape.

  • 8.Bake at 175ºC for about 12 minutes or until light Golden.

  • *Be careful with the vanilla essence, some may contain traces of milk.

  • *Be careful with the baking powder, some may contain egg traces.

  • *We recommend putting the dough in the fridge a little before forming cookies to make it easier to handle/knead them and not sticking to your hands.
